Rarely do we talk about our suppliers and why they do what they do. This is one major exception. Two young men from Miami, after high school and college, decided to go to Israel and join the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Both excelled and proudly wore the Red Beret, one as a paratrooper and one as a member of the special Maglan unit. After their service, they formed a business enterprise to manufacture kippot and have pledged to donate 10% of their sales to the Lone Soldier Center (www.lonesoldiercenter.com). We applaud their commitment and have joined them in this pledge. Each kippah is made from raw silk with a cotton twill lining. It is washable and will not wrinkle. Size is approximately 5.7 inches in diameter.
